The Rapid Transfer Port system is a convenient and widespread standard for the transfer of products in isolators, at the same time an RTP bag out solution through continuous liners can prove to be fast and practical.
RTP bag out via liner is the solution offered by CSV Containment to exploit existing interfaces in rigid isolators or RABS systems and carry out operations in total safety, without installing new devices. The RTP transfer system allows the user to introduce material or extract material from equipment without compromising its environmental characteristics. In fact, the interaction of two separate “Alpha” and “Beta” units allows to perform safe and quick couplings and it is precisely on the “Beta” unit that CSV Containment has focused. 
The Beta Containers from CSV Containment are derived from traditional accessories that couple with the rotational movement to the Alpha doors. The version for bag out via liner is open at the bottom, has a length that varies based on the “donut” that will have to accommodate and is equipped with a corrugated silicone band that allows to mount the continuous liners via “O-ring”.
A new way to work in safety.
Often the RTPs are mounted on isolators that work under positive pressure (in aseptic applications) or negative (in the case of isolators of highly active or toxic products) and the door itself guarantees in the closed position a barrier that prevents the continuous liner of the bag out from collapsing or swelling. In such cases, CSV Containment equips the BETA container with a properly filtered vent/injection gas circuit that allows the liner to be properly unfolded.
The surfaces of the beta device are easy to clean and decontaminate, and the continuous liners are easy to replace once finished. The diameter can vary from 105 to 460 mm and the most suitable donut models made by CSV Containment are those that vary from 10 to 20 meters.
CSV Containment, in addition to producing Continuous Liners custom-made from certified and antistatic materials, is also able to provide Twin Tie ® separation kits, to safely carry out bag out operations.
The RTP bag out via liner system is a standard and easy-to-install solution, which allows to exploit existing structures to perform new or more complex operations. The possibility of expanding the bag out spaces through a Rapid Transfer Port is in fact a solution that allows to speed up procedures, simplify steps, and repeat them several times safely, thanks to the continuous liners and the closing straps.
