Not Just Powders… We have built a liquid sampling glove box to allow operators to perform their work in total safety, confining the valves in an isolator that offers ample visibility and freedom of movement.
The Liquid Sampling Glove Box from CSV Containment has just arrived, but it has already made a mark as the result of the experience gained by our teams in years of containment activities in the pharmaceutical world.
Indeed, it was not just about containing a simple operation of sampling highly active liquids, but doing so around the valves chosen and specified by the client, adapting the maneuvering spaces also based on the dimensions of the service piping. Our ability to work with custom-made solutions allows us to meet these challenges with flexibility and rapid execution. The large window designed for the glove box facilitates sampling tasks, and the convenient loading/unloading system allows for quick transfer of 100 ml glass samples into or out of the chamber. The valve, coupled with a dedicated container custom-made by CSV for the client, enables quick separation of the two parts and safe transport of the samples, which are also confined in turn. The 6-inch drawer valve can also be served by convenient bags equipped with a passive valve, very simple to manage even in limited spaces.
Closed to Open… Safely!
Sampling liquids from reactors can be a risky operation, potentially leading to unintended material spillage. Certainly, in the case of highly active liquids, greater attention is required. For this reason, our dedicated glove box was born, also equipped with a practical decontamination system. Through a spray gun, it is possible to reach all the internal surfaces of the isolator and discharge the fluids through a special drain.
The sampling valves are equipped with special removable caps that allow the insertion of samples to be filled and, once reconnected, ensure the regular passage of the processed liquid.
