How to manage the phase of chemical reactor charging in a safe and contained way.

Containment for delicate chemical reactor charging operations of different products finds CSV Containment’s glove boxes the best ally. Such is the case with this double-iris station installed in a plant where particularly hygroscopic substances are handled. The delicacy of the material, which must not come into contact with water, requires a particularly protected environment free of moisture in the air. This challenge was solved by CSV’s containment engineers by flushing nitrogen into the isolator, which, working under negative pressure, registered a moisture content of less than one percent. The system allows working in an inert atmosphere and ensures safety for both products and operators.

A job up to the mark.

Tailor-made realization is right in CSV Containment’s DNA. We work together with the customer to ensure efficient and ergonomic installations. Reactor heights often require special considerations when setting up around a machine, but our designers stop at nothing! This glove box is designed to work at an appropriate height for easy material handling and reactor charging.

To ensure the perfect fit to the loading point, CSV Containment designed and manufactured a custom-made canister to be attached to the reactor, so that a flexible sleeve can be fit over it to connect to the isolator. The use of flexible sleeves allows leeway in placing the station as close to the docking point as possible. The double-iris DIT® technology, with which the station is equipped, enables the loading of drums of various sizes. The hoist allows heavy drums to be easily carried to height, facilitating operators’ work. Such an installation ensures the repeatability of loading operations in those production facilities that handle large volumes of material to be transferred.

A excellent way out.

For bag-out operations, CSV Containment also offers an excellent line of made-in-Italy products. The continuous liners with which bagout canisters are equipped are custom-made, depending on customer needs. Whether circular or folded, the liners can be separated using Twin Tie® proprietary clamps and the manual and pneumatic tensioners made by CSV Containment. A true excellence that complements an increasingly diverse product range. All consumable materials are made in the “Flexilab,” our plastic laboratory with a clean room, using controlled and certified materials.

Features of the Chemical Reactor Charging Station:
