The high containment valve requested by the customer for these reactor loading systems is a perfect example of collaboration, with each party contributing its own expertise to achieve the goal. This specific Andock system, already in use on other installations at the Spanish customer’s site, is fully compatible with all isolator models developed by CSV Containment.
Telescopic Reactor Charging Station.
The mobile reactor loading station, equipped with DIT® iris technology, can interface with multiple reactors via simple connection sleeves to the valve.
CSV Containment’s flexible disposable sleeves are equipped with clamps on both ends and can be secured to the split butterfly valve using the proprietary tightening system developed by the German company. This configuration facilitates powder transfer between the telescopic loading station and the reactor manway, while also dampening movement caused by drum movement and material handling inside the chamber.
The AVAX valve consists of two identical parts that connect using a bayonet mechanism. The handles used to operate the internal disc are the same ones used for assembling and disassembling the valve. In cases where powders are loaded into the reactor via a bag, the handle is also used to carry it. All valves are equipped with a cap, which can also be mounted and removed using the same handle.
