Double sided glove box

Light, transparency, and full visibility: that’s why you should choose a double-sided glove box!

The decision to implement a double-sided glove box stems from the need to operate in the center of a room, enabling maximum freedom of movement. Custom-designed according to client specifications, this rigid isolator is truly versatile. Its most striking feature is the natural light that flows through both chambers, paired with the presence of 12 glove ports, allowing operators to reach every corner of the internal workspace with ease.

Enhanced Ergonomics.

This dispensing glove box is highly user-friendly and is equipped to manage a wide range of operations. To further improve visibility, this configuration eliminates visual barriers between the two chambers: the internal separation door is made of glass and equipped with an inflatable seal to ensure containment integrity. Now that we’ve seen how easy it is to view, move, and handle materials within the dispensing glove box, let’s explore how materials are introduced and removed. Here too, multiple options are available.

Safe Material Transfer.

Whether you’re working with drums or smaller volumes, you can load materials using either a transfer tray connected via a sleeve, or through the convenient pre-chamber door. The drum inlet, featuring a custom-sized disposable sleeve, is already pre-configured to accommodate a DIT® the CSV’s patented iris interface system. The drum transfer tray is also removable, providing even greater flexibility around the isolator.

Multiple bag-out options are available, with tailored solutions depending on the specific operation. The primary bag-out port, located on the side of the second chamber, interfaces with continuous liners secured by an inflatable sealing ring. These liners are produced in-house by CSV Containment, leveraging the extensive experience of the “Flexilab,” which handles all types of customer requests offering custom liners—from donut to folded formats, in various sizes and lengths.

Beneath the double-sided glove box, a dedicated powder discharge valve is installed. The pre-chamber is also configured to host an RTP door, which always opens downward to ensure even greater safety and OEB5-level containment performance.
